 Kaleidoscope of Homes Winner!
Stonewood Homes, a Tarrant County custom builder, won either first prize or first-runner-up status in each category of competition for the pretigious Kaleidoscope of Homes.
Each year, the Builders Association of Fort Worth and Tarrant County invites several custom builders to participate in the charity/fund-raising event.
Judging is done by a panel of experts assembled from across the nation by the National Association of Homebuilders.
Stonewood, has been a No.1 entrant for many years and has won first prize in the Best Craftsmanship, Best Master Bedroom and Bath, Best Kitchen (tie), Best Furnishing, and Best of Show. Stonewood has also been honored for Exterior Design, Landscaping, Floor Plan, Interior Decorating, and Most Innovative Feature.
Mike Thrutchley, president of Stonewood Homes expresses his pride for these awards and recently attended NAHB meetings for custom builders in Las Vegas, Nev. and St. Louis, Mo. "We are proud of our affiliation with the national state and local builders groups," added Thrutchley.
With two living and dining areas, three and one half baths, a study and a morning kitchen off the master sitting room, it encompasses 3,275 square feet as well as a three-car garage.
Stonewood Homes offers a 10 year warranty on each home and the company has earned awards for energy efficiency.
Stonewood currently builds in Arlington, Mansfield, Duncanville and Colleyville, with a fine selection of sites throughout Tarrant County. Stonewood will also build a buyer's plan, or on a buyer's site.
